Southern Fruit Grower brings Vietnamese family-farming tradition to gardens in Georgia and the US Southeast.
The site is run by Alex, whose family farms in Cư M'gar, Đắk Lắk province, in Vietnam's Central Highlands, grow durian, passion fruit and coffee as Heritage Farms Vietnam. Vietnam is known for fresh, natural food, rice terraces and farming passed down through families, and this site shares that way of growing with Southern home gardeners.
The Southeast is warm and humid like the Highlands in summer, but it has real winters, so we're honest about what transfers and what doesn't. Every guide is checked against sources such as UGA Extension, and we cite them on every page.
